Lightner Creek Canyon: Secluded 33ac Mountain Estate 12 mins from Durango

We loved this place so much when we stayed here in the summer that we came back for a winter visit - and it didn't disappoint! From the gorgeous view to the warm and sunny sun room to the comfy master bed to the spacious house to the work area - it was just perfect. And Jim & Courtney were so responsive. If you are even remotely thinking about staying here - do it! You will love it!

This was the perfect place for our trip to Durango. We really enjoyed our stay. This home truly has it all and is so cozy. The photos online don’t do it justice. It feels secluded but is also conveniently located to the town itself and close to many good restaurants. We loved our time staying here and plan to visit again!

Absolutely spectacular experience, could not have been more pleased with the accommodations and overall setting. The house is amazingly decorated and had everything we needed or could want. We loved being able to sit out on the various patio areas and just relax enjoying the peace and quiet and scenery. The location is very convenient to downtown Durango but far enough away to be more private and peaceful. Mesa Verde National Park is also only a short drive away. We were very impressed with Taylor and how quickly she responded to some very, very minor issues (burned out light bulbs, dead batteries in a remote control, etc.). We would have been fine if nothing had been done but Taylor jumped into action and resolved the issues post haste. We hope to return for another visit in the future and highly recommend this property to anyone anticipating a visit to the Durango area. Fantastic overall experience. Highly recommended.

This gem just outside of Durango is the perfect place for a family retreat and adventure in the mountains. So nice, we’ve stayed twice!
